Hi!

July marks the height of summer. Spring blooms have faded, air conditioners are running on high, summer gardens are beginning to produce, and we're seeking water and other respite. I've collected articles relevant to our season:

The Latest Buzz in New Construction

The US Census Bureau and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development jointly announced the following new residential construction statistics for May 2023:

Building Permits were up 5.2% over 4/2023 but down 12.7% from 5/2022
Housing Starts were 21.7% above 4/2023 estimate and 5.7% above 5/2022
Housing Completions were 9.5% above 4/2023 estimate and 5% above 5/2022
